1. Copyright Policy Overview

Bannership respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.

2. Your Responsibility

When you use our banner printing services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use all content in your designs
  • Your content does not infringe on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • You have obtained all necessary permissions for any images, logos, or other content you include

3. Prohibited Content

You may not submit content for printing that includes:

  • Copyrighted images, logos, or artwork without proper authorization
  • Trademarks, logos, or brand names without permission from the owner
  • Content from movies, TV shows, video games, or other media without licensing
  • Celebrity images or likenesses used commercially without consent
  • Any content that infringes on another party's intellectual property rights

4. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed upon, please provide the following information in writing to our DMCA Agent:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material with enough detail to locate it
  • Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use is not authorized by the copyright owner
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of federal court in your district
  • Statement that you will accept service of process from the complainant

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers. This includes:

  • Users who receive multiple valid DMCA takedown notices
  • Users who repeatedly submit infringing content
  • Users who knowingly provide false information in counter-notifications

7. Trademark Policy

In addition to copyright, we also respect trademark rights. You may not submit designs that include:

  • Registered trademarks without authorization
  • Logos of companies, sports teams, or organizations without permission
  • Brand names used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation

8. Our Rights

Bannership reserves the right to:

  • Remove or refuse to print any content we believe may infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Cancel orders containing potentially infringing content
  • Terminate accounts of users who violate this policy
  • Provide information to law enforcement when required
